What material do we use to make our products?
Our products are made from non-toxic plant-based plastic. This material (referred to as ‘PLA’ for Polylactic Acid) comes in filaments that we use to 3D print our original designs. Compared to wood, PLA is less porous, so it will absorbs less odours or moisture and wipes clean in seconds!
Is it safe?
PLA is recognised as non-toxic and does not release harmful chemicals during normal use. This material is used in a range of products you may already use every day (from food containers to plastic cups) as a biodegradable alternative to plastic.
How should I maintain my product?
Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with cool water. Avoid hot water and high heat.
We recommend that all products are:
- Used only for their intended purpose
- Checked regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Removed immediately if damaged or if your pet begins to chew excessively
- Chosen carefully and responsibly to fit your pet's size and needs
